a day at e beach

well its yet another gloomy mid-winter day in Christchurch.

went to New Brighton beach wif Frank today...enjoyed e beautiful scenery (though not crystal clear la) of e vast ocean n had good ole fish n chips n hot choc. sigh~everything looks so peaceful n nice at e beach...i must say i enjoy watching e waves crashing down, creating big splashes of white, fluffy bubbles along e shoreline. ah. just beeeautiful. walking along e long dock is such a blissful thing to do...u can see kids playing around n licking their ice-creams (yes its winter), seagulls soaring n some landing at e dock, people fishing, and students reading books at e library facing e ocean. life seems to go on slow motion when u're at e beach, doesn't it?

fishing trip is postponed to this friday. so i guess i'll have to let go of e ski trip on saturday until next month lo. e snow is not dat deep during this month, too. will probably watch a midnite movie tomoro, then leave town around 3 am to Akaroa for deep sea fishing. well this holiday might not be dat boring after all. *smiles*
