It's what that makes us reach where we are now. It's what that makes us meet the people we know now; what makes us not know the people we'll never meet. It's what that made me write this post, and what that made sure you're reading this.
It may be overrated at times, but let's face it, life is all based on fate. A simple comcept with a deep meaning. We can't control it, and for some reasons, it makes life a whole lot more interesting knowing that fate can always lead us to new and unexpecting situations or new people.
The Lake House was a movie I saw earlier on, and the plot revolves around the fact that fate has happened to cross between 2 individuals at totally different "times". It's not as confusing as the movie reviews say it is, and it's a definite recommend from me. Keanu Reeves did a great job, though there wasn't much chemistry noticed with Sandra Bullock's character. Nevertheless, the movie will make you leave the theatere asking tons of questions, and thinking a lot about that four letter word. On top of that, the soundtrack is just awesome. =)
Time has told meHold on to every moment, you'll never know when something good might just slip away from your fingers.
You're a rare rare find
A troubled cure
For a troubled mind.
And time has told me
Not to ask for more
Someday our ocean
Will find its shore.
So I'll leave the ways that are making me be
What I really don't want to be
Leave the ways that are making me love
What I really don't want to love.
Time has told me
You came with the dawn
A soul with no footprint
A rose with no thorn.
Your tears they tell me
There's really no way
Of ending your troubles
With things you can say.
And time will tell you
To stay by my side
To keep on trying
'til there's no more to hide.
So leave the ways that are making you be
What you really don't want to be
Leave the ways that are making you love
What you really don't want to love.
Time has told me
You're a rare rare find
A troubled cure
For a troubled mind.
And time has told me
Not to ask for more
For some day our ocean
Will find its shore.
