St Clair Beach

9 days post exams: A much lazier me, lower IQ, more fat storage, 12 days to Auckland travel, and 68 days to Kuching!

Ran some errands in the morning including having a look at the piano on sale on trademe. Huge disappointment though.

Afternoon came the fun part. Sarah drove Ah May and I to St Clair beach! Wheeeeet. Spent time soaking up the sun, feeling the salty breeze on my face, letting the wind mess up my hair, *trying* to fly Sarah's kite, playing ball, and taking tonnes of pictures, of course. Oh btw, we discovered a seal on the beach! Apparently it was sunbathing/napping. So cute! On the way home, we got ice-cream for everyone *yum yum*.

Back at the hall, we were served by Rebec the chef with delicious "mee sua" aka a special Foochow noodle. Almost a year of no home-cooked authentic chinese noodles really made me miss home even more. ;P

Last but not least, pictures! Click to enlarge.

2 days ago at Bob & Bridget's (Otago peninsula) for Lyn's farewell bbq.

A bird's eye view.

Circular.

Serenity; at the beach.

Oh so peaceful; waves.

Letting go; May and Sarah flying the kite.

Ooh it's a seal! And it's sleeping!

Aww. Cuteness.

Eyes wide open; "Yikes, spies!"

The wharf (or what's left of it).

A photo to remember.

Equality.

Fireworks tonight! (in conjunction with Guy Fawkes)
