Freeeedom, for now

Studying about G-protein coupled receptor signaling pathways and the various cascades (that's biochemistry to you) is making me wonder even more: WHY CAN'T I BE A ROCKSTAR?!

how I would (sort of) look like if I were a rockstar...

Some of you might not have known that since years ago, my (not so secret anymore) ultimate dream is to be a rockstar. Well, at least some kind of entertainer on stage, playing music, touring around in tour buses to different cities every day, meeting people et cetera cool things on a rockstar's itenerary.

For now, I shall be the obedient student - study, graduate, find a good job. I shall write down my dream, roll it up nicely, put it into a bottle, and release it into the ocean, hoping someone else at the other side of the world would open it, read it, and maybe accomplish what I'm unable to do.

Anyway. Yesterday was hard-out. I woke up at 6.30am to do devotionals, practised presentation some more, 9am went to uni, 10am lecture, 11 to 1.30pm presentations, 2-3pm lunch with Jaq, 3-6pm studied in library, 6-9pm music practice, 9-10ish dinner at Rainforest (again), got home at 11ish BUT still felt so energetic at the end of the day. AMAZING.

I now know the results to 4 of my previous assignments. Thank God I scored a B+ in the micro business plan- it's not that great but based on solo work instead of a group group, I'm thankful and content with it. No complaints. I can now claim my $20 Vodafone prepay top-up from the teammate who didn't think we'll do better than a C. So glaaaaaad that last presentation EVER this year is finally over. Hearing Jaq say that there is at least 1 presentation every week for micr464 makes my goosebumps rise. Meh, that's for next year to worry think about.

29 days to Singapore!!! (yes I have been proven guilty of checking out the Sg food blogs, compiling a list of all the places to visit for good food- it's 4 pages long now..)
