blabbery mood

The hot weather is really making me lazee to blog. Funny weather, really. Who would have believed that just about 1 month ago it snowed, yet the temperature today is about 30 degrees. Could feel like melting if you stand under the sun, the sun rays are just siaooo strong. Sunblocks n sunnies are a must to stay cool during these summery days. =)

A few updates... First of coz was Rebec's birthdae buffet at Cabbage Tree Restaurant last Sunday. The price quite dear (25 dollars), but anything for *cough cough* mei li...hehe. Food really nice and "prawny", lotsa ice cream too. But before that, went present shopping with Amelia but ended up spending quite a lot for myself. *guilty* Bought a cute cap, did manicure and got nails polished, bought nice belt, watched movie (corpse bride). All in all, spent more than 100 dollars again. Perhaps the most "memorable" part was looking for transport to go home after movies. We didn't know that the metro service stopped at 11pm on Sundays, so had to call people up for transport. So paiseh coz I had to call Ivan 10 minutes before midnite for him to pick me up, and Kelvin didn't help at all by babbling on and on about how he feel weird waiting with me...long story though.

So anyway, had Bio test today. Studied like crazy for it, but mana tau it came out really darn easy. Wasted my energy and time nia. Sheeesh. Nevermind la, can use the info for finals. How easy was it? Yang left just after 15 mins, me being the 2nd last to leave (Joe the last) left after 30 mins. Oh yea did I mention about the New Zealand in the World test results? Got A- (pretty happy about it, since I LOATHE politics and trade stuff) and what did Phyllis (my teacher) said?! "I expected you to do much better in some questions, Jocelyn"... uh huh. Sumaiya got C (no offense) and she didn't even say anything to her. How caring of her.

Btw, got the conditional offer of place in Uni of Otago! Wooohoo~ I finally decided after loooong thought, I'm studying towards a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I'm still keeping my options open to any possibility la. But psychology has been my passion for years, so maybe I'll branch into either criminal or child care psych. Chim, leh. Would love to take up another language, probably Spanish as extra subject. Fabianna (from Puerto Rico) helped me with a few words liao...haha.

Long blog, with a few pics from the bdae dinner. Oh yea, holidays next week!!! nyahaha. sooo nice. But still have to finish draft 1 of the research essay. 1500 words la. Biology essay 1000 words based on hormones due Nov oso. Oh well, happy weekend and take care to everyone.
