Back to blogspot

Finally, after 6 months blogging in multiply, I came back to blogspot. Why the change? Well, why not?

Since the last time I blogged here, many things have happened. I've been into and out of a relationship, fell in love and got my heart broken, changed university and town, changed my circle of friends, changed a church, gone through a traumatic experience, just to mention a few. So, a change now would be appropriate.

After all the new things we experience in life, it's always good and comforting to go back to where it all started. Perhaps we're brought up in an environment that teaches us that changes are always for the better, and maybe that's how we always manage to get hurt with those kind of high expectations. So one of my new half-year resolution is to live each day as it is, not expecting much from any situation. That way, a disappointment wouldn't seem like a big one; and a small achievement would seem like a gift from heaven.

"Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great." Orison Swett Marden
Anyway, been busy studying as always. First semester exams start on 9th and ends on 20th June. Good thing there's something to look forward after that: I'm going back to my absolutely fabulous hometown- Kuching for 2 weeks. heh. Even my parents are now honeymooning holiday-ing in Bangkok. But for now, study awaits me. *frowns*

It's so much easier to keep track of people in Blogger or other independant blogging platforms than in networks like Multiply or even in MSN Spaces and Friendster. At least for me. Maybe it's cause I'm so much more used to it.
