Christmas has come and gone, and tagging right behind it and eager to make its appearance is the one thing that screams "Hurry up and make that new year resolution!"
Seven- it signifies completion. Seven days to create the world, seven angels in the Revelations, seven days in a week, seven colours of a prism/rainbow, seven notes in an octave, etc etc.
Even my new flat's address is 777, Great King Street.
So it's no wonder so many couples are planning to get married on the 7th of July, 2007.
How wonderful it is knowing that this coming year is somehow going to a fruitful, meaningful one.
Maybe it's just that feeling you get during this time of the year when forgetting about the past seems much more easier, and moving forward is no longer a choice but has become something that is bound to happen soon.
Or maybe, just maybe, it's only me being optimistic and smiling like an idiot thinking about going home soon in 10 days. =)
