Muffin mania

Flat 4/777 should be called the muffin flat from now on!

With May as my supervisor, I baked my first white chocolate and macadamia muffins tonight! It was heavenly :P The chocolate and banana muffins turned out pretty well too, considering the recipe was an altered one.

The macadamia nuts is the only expensive ingredient used. When I bought it and found out it costed me $48.95 per kg, I thought the checkout grandma must have made a mistake. Surely, it couldn't be close to 50 bucks a kilo?! But of course, those were super expensive nuts, probably the most expensive nuts I've ever bought, and will ever buy. Hehe.

My masterpiece-- now in my tummy.

Chap Goh Meh dinner!

It seems like food is the main theme whenever there is a gathering or home cell in the flat. During last home cell on Tuesday, Raymond made us yummy laksa! Then this Sunday there's gonna be a steamboat dinner thingy! Waa... really must go to gym soon to lose all those extra fat consumed, or else will gain even more weight before winter.

Food aside, Brooke Fraser is finally back in NZ for a nationwide tour! Considering she is one of my favourite artists of all time, I wouldn't miss it for the world. Btw tickets cost about $47.50 and will be held at Dunedin town hall at 13 April. Time to meet a real talented singer/song-writer and get some autographs! =)
