Final Exams

It's now a fact: I always occupy myself with unimportant things to distract myself away from studies right before exams. Which is a bad thing, really.

During SPM 2 years ago, I would blog at least once a day, mostly about random stuff that nobody would be bothered reading about. In uni, I would spend the nights before exams changing blog layouts, editing previous posts, and creating new posts. Blahhh.

MANV 101 exam is on tomorrow morning. Freaked out is merely an understatement of what I'm feeling right now. The lecturer was honest enough to tell us that our results would be a grade lower than what we expect. In other words, he was looking forward to seeing us back next year if we're aiming for a C. Shucks.

However, MUSI 110 exam on Monday wasn't as bad as I had expected. A huge part of it was due to the fact that my examiner turned out to be our hall's choir conductor. Yeap, it was truly a blessing. Going into the seminar room anticipating the worse and finding Liz instead certainly did bring my heart rate down to normal levels. I got perfect scores for rhythmic dictation but only managed the B grade sight singing test. 16 out of 20, not excellent but good enough to get a B or A- overall. Meh. Should I take another music paper next year on sound recording techniques?

Speaking of which, I found out a super cool software which I never knew I had existed on my laptop! Part of the NERO software programs, it's called the Nero Wave Editor. Played around with it, and managed to modify a few songs by cutting and pasting bits and pieces of melody together. So useful and cool!

Oh well, better get back to final last minute revisions.
