looking on the bright side of life

Weekend's here again. Which means more homework and assignments to do. Which means I start to get lazy again.

Foundation studies bowling was yesterday nite, but only 7 people turned up in the end. Liudmila, Eric, Yang, Oliver, his g/f, Nat, and I. Sad, sad. But we were determined not to let that stop us from having a good time.

Anyway we played a round of ten pin bowling each group. Quite horrified and embarrassed that I lost to the guys. Especially Yang. argh. Then we went to play pool. My 1st (or was it 2nd) time playing pool, I gotta admit it wasn't as boring as I thought it would be... All in all, it was really funny and enjoyable.

Come to think about it, I think we are a very special group of people. haha. Why? Because the 7 of us come from 4 different countries. Speaking of a different country, Liumila's bf in Aussie sent her a card wrote in TURKISH yesterday...haha. So funny considering both of them are Russians. Last time he wrote to her in Chinese and got someone to translate it. So last nite when a TURKISH guy messaged me thru MSN messenger, I basically laughed like mad at the coincidence. Or fate. Or just God showing his funny side to life.
