Stumbled upon Edison's blog. Funny, clever guy. His post about ah-lians and ah bengs actually very true eh. Its almost the same in Christchurch... The "cuuute" Chinese and Korean girls are divided into 2 types basically.
[warning: content might be offensive]
The first group is the more rebellious, rich ones. They have designer bags, clothes, even expensive (probably hundred dollars) pencil cases. no kidding. They drink A LOT, smoke 1 pack of cigarettes daily, have pai-kia boyfriends, but just seem too CUTE and innocent for you to hate them.
Second type is the more common 1. Not that rich, but rich enough to buy a lot a lot of makeup and perfume. Different earrings every day. Oh yea, do notice their hairstyles. All are coloured, layered, straightened (or permed curly now le) blah blah... in conclusion: make yourself look like BARBIE. or make yourself cute enough so that a rich (not necessarily cute) guy will ask you out.
Anyway, my point is.. is this what the world is becoming to??? People change themselves into someone else different just to look cool (or cute), some doing that just to find a bf. sigh. so sad, eh? It just makes me feel sorry for them.
oook. Enough of me being critical. Oh wait, 1 more. Eric bought a NZ$ 3200.00 Fujitsu laptop. freaking idiot. He's totally in luuuurve with it now. Not even once thinking of the price (can buy a car, btw!) and how much its costing his parents. walau eh. Guys these days. So inconsiderate. Ok its not my place to say things about how people spend their money, but please la. I certainly would not spend almost 10,000 ringgit on a laptop. oh well. rich guys, wa. I won't even start on how that much money can help the starving children in Africa...
REAL blog now. Biology presentation tomorrow. No idea how I'm supposed to talk for a full 7 minutes. bleh. Just hope that I'm not the 1st one to talk in front of the class. Graham is in Gold Coast for holidays (soooo nice ar), so there's a replacement teacher for Chemistry. Richard or something. Dunno if its only me onot, but after 10 minutes listening to him babble, I had to struggle to keep my eyelids open. Pure torture...
I just realised that all I've mentioned is "negatively skewed". haha. Not that I'm in a bad mood... Actually I just translated a love letter. Yeah a typical love letter. I got the Turkish guy to translate Liudmila's letter, kinda embarrassing coz the content goes something like "...i think of you every day, every minute, every second... though sydney has a million people, it is empty without you...yadayaddiyada..." aheks aheks.
