tragedy never fails to strike

Exactly 142 days before I can go back to Kuching! Seems like a long way to go, but hopefully this 5 months can pass by quickly. To say I miss home, family, and frens is an understatement. hehe. I guess everyone appreciate things more when they're further away. Corny but true : Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

So far this week has been quite boring le. I've stayed home most of the time studying for SNZ finals tomorrow. Hope it pays off. But looking forward to tomorrow though, coz I can finally receive the package from my parents through Ivan. haha. I keep imagining my father questioning him...asking him how he knows me blah blah. And just to get over SNZ once and for all...

Saw the news last nite about a car that had plunged of Port Hills cliff, more than 200 metres below, and the car totally smashed. 1 ASIAN student was reported dead. I didn't think much of it at 1st, but then got the email from Lorraine telling us that the victim was in the same course as I'm in! So shocking! They didn't reveal the name of the victim, but hope that he's not someone I know personally. sigh. Well, that'll teach people not to drink n drive, esp so early in the morning...
