Oops, we did it again!

It seems that somehow I cannot run out of embarrassing moments to get into. -___- Here is another one.

CNY visiting with the youths started as early as 7am. (Translation: 7am actually means that it's now ok to start getting up, but if it's raining it's ok to get up at 7.30am and be there by 8-ish.) So unfortunately it was a bit drizzly at that time, and we finally left Kevin's house by 9am.

I think we made it to at least 15 houses. Either the list went longer than that or the older ones (including me) couldn't take the heat and felt like we've climbed the Mount Everest by the time it was 2pm.

So I think it was around the 5th or 6th house when it happened. We travel around with at least 6 cars as there were more than 30 of us. (That's a record!) Agfa, Denise, Lavine, Rach and I followed Deb's car, and we were headed towards Julian's house. We reached first and decided to go into the house first.

It all seemed normal. Too normal, in fact. We shook hands and greeted Happy CNY with 2 aunties and 2 kids, and noticed there were 3 people sitting down on the sofa. Then, the people in the room suddenly seemed unfamiliar. I don't really know how or when but the 6 of us just turned our backs and rushed out of the house as soon as we realised we were in the wrong house.

OOOOOPS.

Thank goodness the aunties were quite forgiving and kept saying "Nevermind lah, it's Chinese New Year mah..." And then outside, the other youths that have just arrived made fun of us like mad, as expected.

All's good in the end. Though it was pretty embarrassing, it was fun. And of course, typical of us girls everytime we go out together. The last time something happened was when Deb forgot to turn off the headlights and we were stranded outside a cafe for over 1 hour until her dad came to the rescue. :P

Oh no, not again!

Kids once again.

Girls will always be girls =)

Tiring day, but Chinese New Year is never complete without youth visiting. It's a time when those from overseas come back for a gathering, and suddenly realise that they are suddenly OLD, and then start doing blurry things that humour even the old folks.

Looking forward to what this year brings, and where it will bring all of us to. =)
