Since the theft incident, mum has been insisting that I stay at the shop full time, meaning from 830 am until around 10 pm. Now I realise how exhausting it is to work more than 12 hours a day, non stop.
But there is a good thing behind all this. I met my long lost cousin, Elisha. haha! Her dad brought her to the shop and asked her to work with me, and since the past 2 days, I've gotten to know her so much better. Sha-sha is really grown up now (my cuz thought she was over 20), has a loving boyfren (haha, a lil jealous there), and really stylish too (what to do when your mum was a beauty queen...) Anyway, I'm so glad that she's almost like a sister to me now. hehe
The not so good part: I'm not allowed to go out that often now, and staying at home surfing the net for hours- not anymore. Maybe through this I'll learn how to be more diciplined and not always be that selfish. bleh. My frenz are all going out shopping tomorrow... but I guess I'll just have to be a good girl and help my mum at her shop all day... even on a Saturday. Sacrifices... they're hard to make, but it will all be worth it in the end.
