Prize-giving day, as usual each year, is equally boring. What to do when you have a bald and short-sighted guy for a headmaster?
On Friday night, Jul told me that Ying was not going to receive either of the 3 outstanding students award. Shocking, really shocking. For the past 5 years, Ying has made herself one of the most popular girls in school. She was practically involved in everything - prefect, PBSM, school mag editor, debate, competitions etc. Everyone thought that she was deifinitely going to be the one to take home the coveted trophy/prize. But alas...she got none in the end. Not even the Pelajar Cemerlang or Pelajar Contoh award. Btw, Jou got the Pelajar Contoh award while Kia Miang got the Pelajar Cemerlang award. I think Ying was furious when she heard the news. Sure, who wouldn't be? Jou was even shocked when her name was announced. She didn't want to lose her friendship with Ying just because of some silly award, and got some advice all the way from UK - Sharon.
Yesterday morning, she looked quite uneasy too... blurted everything out when we reached school. I really pity her though, she's stuck in between, not knowing what to do... But in the end, everything went well, I guess... Ying said that she knew from the beginning this was going to happen since many teachers disliked her. Rumours said that teachers think that her behaviour is 'terrible'. What the --- ?!! Gosh, they are all just threatened by her...Ying was one of those outspoken people who would just say out anything...including bad stuff about some teachers. No wonder they didn't want to give her the award, not to mention 300 ringgit cash. Anyway, Jou promised us she'd chiah the 4 or 5 of us makan soon, probably before I go for NS training. waa...I 'd really miss her. It's funny how I only start to get close to someone who will be leaving for somewhere soon... Last time was Agfa, now Jou... this shucks. bleh ;|
Have the biggest urge to watch a scary movie. The Grudge - English version is out now, can't wait to see it. Too bad it's only 4 days to SPM now. For the sake of Halloween mood, write a dead letter at thedeadletter.com.
